SUICIDE SILENCE Drummer Talks Bullying In Video Interview
February 3, 2012Drummer Alex Lopez of California deathcore masters SUICIDE SILENCE taped a 10-minute public service announcement (PSA) for the Musicians Opposed To Bullying (M.O.B.) web site addressing the ever-growing problem of bullying, and especially cyber-bullying — the use of technology such as the Internet and phone texting to harass or humiliate others. SUICIDE SILENCE is currently touring North America as the support act for MACHINE HEAD. Also appearing on the bill is DARKEST HOUR.
SUICIDE SILENCE's latest album, "The Black Crown", sold around 14,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 28 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released in North America on July 12, 2011 via Century Media Records.
